The Signature Service is not an ordinary, quick, or simple detailing package. It includes the highest levels of Detailing - Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating protection for interior and exterior surfaces. The end result is a protected vehicle that will look new for years and years to come.
*WARRANTY* - Warranty for ALL Ceramic Coatings is provided.
SERVICE TIME : ~ 5 Days (Per Vehicle) + 24-48 hours Cure Time
*If you are wanting a "quicker" service or cannot wait that long, I have other services available (The Standard Detail, (Level 1) Services etc.)
PRICING : Pricing varies based upon vehicle size and current condition. *In-person Vehicle Inspection REQUIRED.
- I charge by the job, and not an hourly rate.
- If your vehicle is *brand new* (1 month or less of ownership), pricing won't fluctuate that much but can vary depending on if the paint or interior has defects/damage already.
- *If you are out of the area (15+ miles away) I will charge you a deposit to come inspect the vehicle. If you do not approve the service quote, the deposit will not be refunded. If you do approve the service quote, the deposit will go towards final pricing.
- If you would like to bring the vehicle to me (Albany, Oregon) for the inspection, I will not charge you.
The 1st vehicle inspection was done prior to service and deposit has been confirmed.
A second vehicle inspection is necessary to ensure I understand the true condition of all surfaces of the vehicle. This inspection is done once all surfaces have been cleaned and any protection, oils etc. have been removed and no longer "mask" the surface.
With a special light, I will look for manufacturer defects, scrapes, tears, un-done seat stitching, holes, scuffs, panel alignment, gaps, cosmetic issues. Any issues/defects noticed will be photographed, documented and shared with owner at that time.
PAINT DEFECTS : Scratches, wash marks, scours, scrapes, factory sanding marks, water spots, micr-marring, bird poop etching, tar, deep scratches/scrapes.
*Please ensure all personal belongings are removed from the interior.
Vacuuming/dusting gets completed first. All mats are removed from vehicle and cleaned accordingly and then dried.
I utilize a steam cleaner for interior surfaces because it deep cleans, but there's not a big need to physically rub the surfaces over and over. This reduces the potential for scuffs or scouring. If the interior is very dirty, then I will do a more aggressive deep clean for the specific surfaces. All surfaces will get cleaned, and then conditioned and let air dried.
All windows will get a streak-free finish.
After every surfaces is cleaned and dried, the Coating application will start. Each Coating is applied then cured for a specific amount of time and that process is repeated until all layers are applied.

Any type of protection that is on the vehicle can get in the way of the Paint Correction process. What do I mean by this? When protection isn't fully removed and you correct/polish the surface, the protection can hinder the look of the vehicle. Sometimes creating a hazy or cloudy outcome. Not only does the overall look become affected, but old protection left on a vehicle can hinder the bonding process of the new protection. This means longevity suffers greatly and the user experience won't be what it should be. This is the main reason vehicle preparation is crucial.
WASH & PREP PROCESS |
---|
Wheel Foam Pre-soak : Breaks down surface contamination. |
Wheel Iron Remover & Tar Remover : Removes iron and tar particles from wheel face and wheel barrels. |
Tire Cleaner : Specific for rubber, helps remove tire browning. |
Vehicle Foam Pre-soak : Encapsulates surface dust and break down bird poop, bugs, and other surface contamination. |
Iron Remover Treatment : Chemical that removes iron particles and road fallout of all exterior surfaces of vehicle. |
Tar Remover Treatment : Remove road tar safely and effectively without the need for excessive agitation. |
Clay Bar Treatment : Removes that "texture" or "grit" from vehicles clear-coat and creates a smooth surface for the hand wash process. |
2nd Vehicle Foam : Foam has "chemical stripping" properties while creating a slick surface for safe washing. |
Hand Wash : While 2nd vehicle foam is on the surface, breaking down vehicle protection, I will hand wash the vehicle and the foam will help ensure a slick surface, thus creating a safer wash and reduce the potential for scratching or marring. |
The process of prepping a vehicle for Paint Correction is vitally important. The time for this specific portion of the service can be anywhere from one hour upwards of two hours per vehicle. Time depends on vehicle size and condition.
Manufacturers are using less paint than ever before on vehicles. It does vary from manufacturer, but because of this sometimes Paint Correction can be very finicky. A lot of variables are at play when using a machine polisher, and then you include paint hardness, liquids, pads etc. I won't get into it, but it can definitely be a rabbit hole!
When you Paint Correct or in general Polish, you are actually removing microns of clear-coat to level the surface. A leveled surface brings the most shine and that "wet" look.
My Process : "Remove as many defects as possible, while ensuring I leave as much paint still on the vehicle. Sometimes I do have to push the limits for that "Car Show Winning" look."
So whether your vehicle is used and abused, or brand new, the goal is to take it to that "Car Show Winning" look, and to do that can take a lot of time. In fact, this is the most time consuming portion of this service. This portion of the service is what I truly and deeply enjoy. There is something about putting my headphones on, and dialing-in car paint to a level that some didn't know was possible.
Once completed the Ceramic Coating application process begins.
"The end result and the reaction from my clients are incredible, and in that moment they get to see my passion and skill with the detailing I bring. Sometimes they get teary-eyed, others are stoked, and some can't find words to say. Whatever the reaction is, it's always a privilege to work on the vehicles that I am entrusted with."

This information will be discussed during vehicle pickup, but in case anyone forgets...
"When can I wash my vehicle after the service?" : 2 weeks from the vehicle pickup date is ideal. After that, enjoy!
Maintenance Email Reminders : Once your Coating warranty has been emailed you will receive a PDF file for printout. I have digital copies, so if you lose anything, please contact me so I can relay those files back to you.
Every quarter you'll receive an email "Maintenance Reminder". Please check your junk folder! This email ensures you contact me to setup your maintenance service. I do my best to contact you as well, but sometimes I won't be able to get to you first. I recommend writing down each quarter date and then contacting my throughout the year accordingly.
"Can I take my vehicle through the automatic car wash?" : I never recommend doing that. If so, you *will void the warranty for your Coating.
It's better to wait with a dirty vehicle and have it washed and decontaminated properly, then doing it wrong and causing more issues. I get it though, I don't like a dirty vehicle just as much as the next person.
"The dealership offered to wash my car during my maintenance appointment....should I let them?" : Always respectfully decline this offer from ANY place. The only people washing your vehicle should be the ones who know my process and procedure.
Please make sure you have the dealership update your file to say "DO NOT WASH, EVER" If they end up damaging your vehicle and forget, please contact me and I will address the situation.
"How often do I need to bring it in for a Professional Maintenance service?" : Every quarter month! Sometimes that's not possible because life gets in the way, I understand. But the more we keep up on the Coatings, the longer they'll last and the better experiences you'll have.
