The entry level detail service provides a full interior “reset.” What I mean by that is, this service will clean and condition the entirety of your interior and the results will be that “new” look and feel that we all love when first purchasing a vehicle.
THE STARTING PROCESS
All factory mats are removed and surfaces are checked and documented for damage before I start the cleaning process.
Once done, I will start with the back of the vehicle and blow out all cracks, crevices, vents, surfaces, animal hair etc. Then I will vacuum and dust all interior surfaces; vents, door panels, pockets, crevices, etc.
DOOR JAMS
Door jams will be the first area of cleaning. During the cleaning, I will utilize a steam machine. Steam works great by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces due to the high heat output it provides of different surfaces. Door jams are the thinnest painted area on a vehicle. So process and procedure is crucial so I don’t scour or scuff these areas. Using a soft brush in this area will aide in cleaning will ensuring no damage occurs.
SEATS : Process varies for seat types.
Seat types such as cloth, leather, alcantara, suede, vinyl will change how I go about cleaning them.
Cloth Seats : For cloth seats, I like to clean them after the door jams. By cleaning them in the beginning of the service, this will allow enough and ample time for drying. Once thing I stress to my clients is that I don’t use seat extractors to improve/remove stains. While these tools are cool to see and use, they actually can cause more potential damage to your vehicle. This is because the foam in your seats get saturated with water and if they don’t dry all the way, mold can/will become an issue.
Leather Seats : Leather or other “leather” type surfaces do not require steam. Utilizing a high-end leather cleaner and leather brush, I will agitate accordingly and clean the surface. Once dried, a leather conditioner will be massaged into surfaces and then leveled away. Leather conditioners are very crucial to keep your leather seats, steering wheel, etc. in rich shape and feel. Conditioners provide necessary hydration to leather and provide some UV protection as well. OH, this leather conditioner I use smells SO GOOD!
DOOR PANELS - DASH - OTHER COMPONENTS
Use a brush and towel will help clean the door panels and other plastic components. The steam allows me to get in between buttons, knobs, plastics areas, seat tracks, handles and all the nitty-gritty areas in a vehicle. The steam also help revive the look and color of some materials. When oil or lotions build-up they create an off color appearance or dull look to surfaces. Typically this can be remedied. The steam also helps sanitize the interior area!
CARPETS
Fiber length and pile type will determine if I use a drill brush for agitation or scrub by hand. Yes drill brushes are quicker and more convenient, they can damage fibers, so utilizing them in specific cases is crucial. I love using the drill brush, its actually fun to see all the dirt come up and the chemical start cleaning and foaming up.
WINDOWS - CHROME ACCENTS - PIANO BLACK PIECES
Last but not least, windows and glossy accents throughout the vehicle are touched up. Gauge cluster, infotainment screen, all interior glass and chrome door handles are cleaned and touched up. This really adds that next level of “clean” and crisp looking interior. A high quality glass cleaner is used to provide a streak-free end result.
